Norway has roughly slightly more than half the population of Sweden's approximately 10.5 million people. So approx. 1/3 of the per capita deaths in Norway v Sweden!!
Florida has roughly half the population of Canada, and these are the Statistics. So the latest figures from today are:
Florida has recorded 7,195,943 cases of coronavirus and 82,875 related deaths. No Mask Mandates
Canada, by comparison, so far has a total of about 4,363,075 million cases of COVID-19 and 47,316 deaths. Mask Mandates by Most Provinces!!
Ontario has a population of 15.0 Million vs Florida's population of 21.8 Million.

I don't think you can correlate mask mandates to deaths.
Average age of population, weather, co-morbidities, rate of vaccinations, and so on may play a bigger role.
That said, it is true that most of our masking practices are total crap and useless. People wearing a surgical mask (supposed to be disposed off after 1 use), or a cloth mask, repeatedly touching it, never washing it etc., Heck I have even seen people place their masks on the floor in the gym and then wear on their face to "protect" themselves lol.
