Calling all fans of the game! This is your chance to be heard. The hockey world knows that Canadian fans, especially Leaf Fans, are the most loyal. Send in your emails to the NHLPA and the NHL or lets all get together at the ACC one day for a few hours to protest. Let the hockey world know your pissed!! Enough is enough, we want our hockey back. Why don't we protest by not watching or buying anything hockey related.....I mean it's ridiculous how the fans are gauged on ticket prices to the extent that the common person can't take his kid to a game......and each year the leafs raise ticket prices and yet the product they put out on the ice sucks....there won't a be stanley cup in hogtown in our life time.....they don't need to try for a stanley cup run....Toronto fans are stupid....they keep going and paying regardless of the garbage on the ice....look at the Harold Ballard days....I remember montreal had a shitty team....the attendance drop significantly b/c they understand ...shitty product = shitty attendancefrisco said:Calling all fans of the game! So I say we protest by not attending hockey games until they roll back the prices to an acceptable level and put a better product on the ice
I for one will not renew my season's tickets nor will I sit in my buddies private box for the next 2 years
....plus Hockey is essentially dead in the US....I can't wait til Toronto gets a Dodgeball team
Let's realize what pro sports are. They are nothing but fantasy leagues for the really really rich.
Imagine what a company like IMG could do if they decided to use the players to put on a regional competition consisting of a team made up of players from; Southern Ontario, Eastern Ontario, SW Ont., Quebec and Atlantic, Central Can., Alberta, and B.C.
Then play these games in centres like; Copps or Richo, JLC, Ottawa Civic Centre, the new place in Winnipeg, Colisse, and other similar venues. With the regional favour these games would sell out and send a message to the owners that everyone will survive without them.

Woke up this morning....
I am really worn out hearing all this gripe about the season that will never be.Many of the fans are just plain sick of the way this situation is being handled.I love hockey,but it seems the drawn out talks and bantering will leave a mark that will be hard to erase from all.The season was in peril long ago.Now fans everywhere are seeing the game for what it is..the love of cash.I never thought that I would not miss hockey,but it turned out that way.

On city TV last night they annouced that 40% of hockey fans don't miss it.
What does that tell you? That unless these gougers don't get off their butts real quick, they won't have a league to come back to!
I agree, let's see these prima donnas come back to a league no one wants or will pay to see. I wonder if Sunbeam err Sundin will think that a 3 million salary cap wasn't so bad when he can't get paid a dime cause no one will pay to watch him......
