A Toronto man is facing 17 charges on accusations that he sexually assaulted and robbed women working in the sex-trade industry.
Toronto police said that a man targeted a vulnerable group of women working on Yonge St. between Finch Ave. E. and Sheppard Ave. in January and February.
The man arranged “dates” with the victims, then sexually assaulted them. The man is also accused of several armed robberies.
Police arrested O’Neil Forrester, 19, on March 4. He is facing criminal charges including sexual assault, forcible confinement, robbery with a firearm, robbery with a knife and forcible entry.
Police believe there may be more victims, and anyone with information is asked to call 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
