Now that Toronto and Peel are locked down, are agencies with incalls in those areas, and are Toronto outcall agencies going to close?

The gray zone applies to peel and toronto regions. The gray zone is the only zone in which gatherings from other households are prohibited. All the other zones allow multihousehold gatherings. The red zone, which is the next most strict zone still allows indoor social gatherings of up to 5 people. Durham and York are in the red zone, so agencies can still provide services in those areas.

Far fewer people are going to take this second lockdown seriously.

We now know that most masks are useless, that aerosols travel 30 meters so 6 feet of social distancing is useless, the virus cannot be stopped and has already infected over a billion people worldwide, it's a very bad flu that disproportionately impacts the sick and elderly, yet has an overall survival rate of 99.9%.

You can lockdown entire cities or countries but if you have open borders that allow infected people in by car and plane, you've just undone the purpose of the lockdowns. This is a bad movie on replay.

The political response to covid has been a disaster for the social and economic well-being of society.

It's nice to see agencies are not caving and instead are remaining open.

If I was going to an in call appointment, how would authorities (bi-law officers) know that I was not visiting someone from my own household? I imagine the enforcement would be very difficult in a city as big as Toronto

Are you marking down entire agencies to not do business with? If that is the case then as of today all the major agencies would be off your future business list. Just curious if you're looking at the agencies as a whole or documenting the 80-100 individual SP's that are working this week, for example.

Quit spreading doom & gloom...and fear & panic re the economy.

There are more important issues at stake. Namely people's health & life.

Moreover BMO has forecasted a full recovery of the economy next year.

And, yes, many have been enjoying an all expenses paid holiday, courtesy of the Canadian government, from that 4 letter word "work".

Until, of course, the aforementioned "full recovery".

So the economy is not dead or destroyed, but sleeping & on holiday.
