Maybe a second question for the legal experts here, is the charging decision one made only by the York Regional Police or have the crown attorney's gotten involved yet and if the later does that mean they are preparing to have Constitutional fight over Bill C-36 that they were not in the Anwar case.

What hotel is that? I usually go to hotels in that area and do not recognize that carpet. Also I don't see many cameras in the hallways

I still don't understand the details, but you'd have to be a complete idiot to walk into a hotel in uniform and see an escort.
Being a police officer could in no way shape or form be discreet. I wonder what the rationale was. I know second hand from discussion with a few ladies plenty of cops see them, but never on duty. In fact one SP told me she refused to see one after a wellness checkup. He tried to smoothly book an appointment for later on in the day as he was the last one in his crew to leave the room.

He was a cheap bastard and was trolling for a freeby. He was trying to intimidate her. He could have also been a fake cop which would put her in danger.

He wasn’t wearing a uniform. He was off-duty wearing civilian clothes but he was also carrying a handgun (which he made a point of showing her) and told her he was a cop.

I don’t blame the sp for being creeped out; the guy sounds like he has a screw loose.
