Of course it is, and as previously mentioned this "central banks are evil" dates back to the founding of the Republic. Think of McCulloch v. Maryland.
I rather doubt the video mentions that a consequence of Andrew Jackson's destruction of the Second Bank of the United States was a depression.
You think that makes our systems the same? Mr. Harper's been telling the world something rather different. Including that national debt was the result of liberal spendthrifts. Now you tell us those good conservative bankers did it.
And of course the USA didn't always have a central bank did they? So we should go back to the days when every bank printed its own money and you needed a reference book the size of an encyclopedia to check the discount\risks that a note you'd never seen was counterfeit?
Or do we just trust our 'puters that never lie to us?
