The first signs of the recession/depression have arrived, it will get worse before it gets better.

I suppose the authorities will make some kind of compromise solution on rent and mortgage payments. I rent my own home and my landlord has given good discounts now. nobody wants a complete collapse.
The authorities can't even decide to extend unemployment top ups.

In fact the only thing they can agree on is liability protection for certain businesses.

Right after the 2008 bailout the banks foreclosed on 500,000 homes
Then they were sold or transfered to companies to rent them out, meanwhile they mortgages them to the hilt and used the cash to invest in high risk stock.
And just like in 2008 they also sold the debt off as an investment.

And with a probable Biden win they know they will get bailed out again.

In other words they don't care about a collapse. Small landlords may do this. The big ones have already started the eviction process.

So true. The worst in 2008 is the banks were bailed out... Then they survived, foreclosed on half millions homes of which they were directly responsible and cash out selling them. Double dipping for the banks... In 2008-2009 the gouvernment should have used the money to help save the 500k homeowners keep their property, at a lower value, and let the bank fuck themselves...

I hope that's what they will do this time.

Why do you think the US is bringing 6000 troops back from Germany? To prepare for a possible civil war.
