i havnt seen anyone post any threads about football..anyz...im a huge football fan...love the packers! but to those who watch football closely here...whats keeping the eagles to trade t.o.? ... t.o. has issues..no doubt about that...and the only reason he's being the way he is right now is cause he wants out of philly and b/c he didnt get his raise....but whats holding the eagles to trade em though...is it b/c he has a "wish-list" of teams to go 2?...is it the long term contract he wants thats holding other teams back?...i like the eagles but kinda feel bad for the situation they are in...personally i dont understand t.o. whinning so mch..hez making enuff money as it is....like why are you being so stupid like this...but i guess thats his nature!....so any thoughts of who might be interested in t.o.? when it comes to having money...i always think of them cowboys...but i doubt parcell would want some1 like t.o. on his team...but ya... t.o. has gotta grow up!!

ok im a bigtime football fan, so let me break it down for you:
-t.o. just signed a long-term contract last season, with a huge signing bonus , so it would be hard for the eagles to trade t.o. right now due to the fact that they would take a big cap hit on their salary cap.
-Expect the eagles to likely cut t.o. at the end of the season instead, because he makes too much, and the eagles would make more of a salary cap savings due to the structure of the NFL CBA.
-T.O.'s trade value is at his lowest after all this circus like atmosphere he has created, the distraction he has created within the team, and the public feud between him andy reid, donovan mcnabb, the eagles fans, jeff lurie, and joe banner. No team will trade for T.o. right now underneath these circumstances.
-T.o. is wrong for causing a disturbance within training camp, but what's up with the media these days, they complain about t.o. getting too much of the spotlight, yet these are the same guys that follow him to his house and ask stupid questions. and what was up with him taking his shirt off and having a workout in his driveway?????

The Eagles are like the N.J. Devils of the NFL. Owens picked the wrong organization and city to fuck with.
honestly there should b a clause or something for players like t.o. ....i hope the commissioner does something about this..cause players ruin the sport by doing this b.s. ....especially in football all these rookies and other players holding out...pff...something should b done..like go to an arbitrator cause its awful for teams like philly or teams like the bears who have their top rookie holding out! they gotta start making new rules against this sorta crap....anyz...hope t.o. gets his tan in the bahamas like he said ..and changes or rather smartens-up!

All the athletes must honour their contracts when they sign them,thats why they sign the contract they do!!!!! Every team owner should hold there guns to the athlete to honour their contracts but owners are scared of the athlete. What ever happen to playing for the fun of the sport and making a few dollars. Every athlete should try working a real job and see how long they would last. I used to be a sports fan but not now especially when you hold a gun to my head and WINE

What happens if T.O gets cut? The contract becomes null. I think this is his point. It's not about the 7 year contract. It's that fact that tomorrow the Eagles can say., "thanks for coming out" and he'll be gone. No seven year contract, no cash.
I dont feel a bit sorry for the Eagles , they new what they were getting. I do applaude them though for standing their ground. The only problem is that he and his agent are such jerks I don't think a high percentage of those other teams will want to do business with them. He's shrunk his own market. I hope he's cut and then no one signs him. He'll have no one to blame but himself.
Did anyone else see TO and Drew Rosenhaus on ESPN??? Reid told him to shut up and that's why he left camp?!?! That's pretty lame.
