Yet somehow your well equipped super-soldiers were defeated around Kiev and have been stopped in their southern drive.

Were they not supposed to out of ammo on the 25th of march? Yet you guys keep eating up all the Western press tells you, even though it keeps being proven wrong. Which should at least make you a smidgen skeptical about the prevailing account of the events leading to this war.
Who said that here?

It makes sense now, remember when Trump took office and he said the army had no money for bullets and he gave them money to buy bullets, Trump was talking about the Russian army.

I have never heard anyone say Russia is out of gas, food, ammo and tanks

Yeah, I mean, I think everyone knows they have the materials, they just don't have an efficient way to re-supply troops in the field. And that is their Achilles heel.
Yes, in their arrogance, they didn't plan properly for a longer campaign. But I imagine they're rectifying that. They have a lot of resources to back them up, so as incompetent as they've been to date, they'll likely figure it out in the long run.

I don't know if it was over confidence. From my understanding, they don't have the logistical ability to ship as much materials as needed to troops once they got 30km past the railheads near the border. Not enough trucks to carry food, fuel or ammo, which is why their advances peter out after a certain distance. The US military, for example, has a significantly larger logistical footprint. They have a bunch more trucks and what not, and can send them in mass to sustain an offensive.

I think it is one of those things where the US has a professional military that has little corruption. There is little pilfering of materials by supply officials, and they have done enough war games to plan for and understand how much they need to support the front line troops.

Now, if Russia were to be invaded, they would be well supplied as they retreated along the railway lines. They could be re-supplied all the time.

People like you are making a fool of yourself, cheering young Ukrainian men to die for nothing and keep destroying their nation. Thousands more will die needlessly because of people like you

Operational pauses when an army outstrips its supply chain are common, they happened in Iraq as well.

Right. After Guadalcanal, the Japanese called their retreat "advance by turning".

Man, for people who go on and on about freedom, you are so quick to support an unprovoked invader in conquering a sovereign nation. Your advice is to just give up and take it? Would you tell your wife/daughter/sister to just lie back and enjoy being raped? Like don't fight back because it could do damage??? Would you have Canada surrender if Russia decided to invade here? Seriously, what do you think Russia would do to Ukraine if it won? Would they see a higher standard of living? Would they have freedoms that we take for granted? Would they be able to choose how their country is governed? No, I doubt it.

I know many Ukrainians. They are all united in thinking the country should fight the invaders. The loss of civilians and others is horrific. But the fault is all on Russia. RT and the other propaganda units are trying to make it seem like Russia had no choice, like they were forced into invading. All of it is bullshit. And you constantly push their messaging. Russia is a bully that thought it could steal the lunch money from the quiet kid who knows how knew some martial arts and fought back. The bully still thinks he will eventually get it, but keeps getting punched in the face. This type of aggression should not happen. I didn't think the US should have invaded Iraq....and Afghanistan...well, I understood that one at least. Russia/Ukraine is not the same thing.

NATO, no matter how much Putin tries to sell it, is not an offensive threat to Russia. However, it makes it harder for him to fuck around with the other former soviet republics in the neighbourhood. Putin wants to pretend Russia is still a super power. That sun has set a while ago. It doesn't have the economic might to fund a military, nor, apparently, the leadership to conduct a quick and successful invasion. They have nukes, but one must question at what level of readiness are they actually at?

You are not wrong. I mean, the allies paused after the crushed the German army in France. Instead of moving on through the Netherlands, the regrouped and rested for a few weeks. However, Germany took no further offensive action until mid December in the disastrous Battle of the Bulge. Yes, it took ground for a few weeks, but it got beaten back and was firmly on the defensive.

I am not saying Russia won't continue fighting. They will. They will likely launch another offensive in a few days. But they will continue to face the logistical issues they have right now. They are going to see a shortage of men and material as well as armour.

They usually don't involve complete evacuation of the combat area with abandoned fighting vehicles though. So this one's "special".

When are the Russians attacking again, notty? I'm guessing that they can't. They don't have enough viable units left for a major new offensive.

On the third day?

At best, Putin's military advisors convinced him and themselves that they could overrun Ukraine in a couple days. The other part is how much military supplies were sold on the black market by their commanders (and yes, there is plenty of documentation of this happening of the past 3 decades).

They have told former soldiers that they are being reactivated and they will need 12 weeks of re-training so either Russia expects the war in Ukraine to go on for months or they have an extremely paranoid belief that NATO is actually planning to invade Russia.

Putin is a pervy insane cunt with no creative ability. He has turned Russia back into the world's largest prison or second largest prison if you take China into account. With all the opportunity to make the world a better place. With science. Technology. Art. Free thinking. The only thing he can come up with is fucking murder. torture. imprisonment. War if you can call it that on a civilian population. That is all his syphilitic cancerous brain can contribute. And Russians are buying it. Fuck them. Fuck Russia. Fuck Germany. They are the main obstacle in stopping him. All the talk about him being a crafty, smart cunt rings hollow. His great contribution to the 21st century is this shit show.
He should have a safety pin shoved up his urethra, clamped shut. string tied to it and ripped loose. And that's just a warm up.
