A new poll of Arab residents of Jerusalem by a Palestinian media outlet found that 93% of them prefer to remain under Israeli rule and would not give up their Israeli identity card.

Arab residents of Jerusalem are, for the most part, not Israeli citizens, but can request citizenship if they wish. Those who are not citizens carry a special ID card allowing them freedom of movement within Israel proper.

The poll conducted by the Shfa news outlet asked 1,200 Arab Jerusalemites — none of them Israeli citizens — regarding their preference for living under Israeli or Palestinian rule in the future.

1,116 of the respondents said they prefer for Israel to continue to rule Jerusalem. 84 said they preferred the Palestinian Authority, but 79 of those said they would not give up their current identity card.

They're tired, who wants to live under a Islamist type government, when they can live in a secular type of country.

not quite secular but in any event, it's clear from this poll what they prefer.

Seems you never bothered explaining why the quality of life for Palestinians in Gaza is so much different than in their kin in the West Bank.
Apartheid.

The UN, HRW and B'tselem have detailed how there are 3 different forms of apartheid under Israeli rule.
In the West Bank, Gaza and Israel.
Its all just apartheid, in different forms.

Read the reports, its all there.

‘Israeli apartheid’ top human rights issue of 2021 - HRW
The NGO's report on Israel’s conduct ranked higher than those on topics including sexual violence in India, extrajudicial killings in the Philippines, digital sex crimes in South Korea and more

Apartheid.
...
Unadulterated spam.

You either lied about the Jpost article or didn't bother reading it (but I'm sure that Israel company appreciates the profit from the clicks you are driving).
" A story about “Israel’s apartheid and persecution against millions of Palestinians," topped the list of Human Rights Watch's (HRW) most-read reports of 2021, the NGO has reported. "

And still waiting for you to explain why Gazans and West bank Palestinians have very different qualities of life. But that would mean you'd have to be critical of the way Hamas has run Gaza which you are incapable of doing.

93% is very overwhelming too say the least........Can't blame them though only an idiot would want to live under the Palestinian Authority.
But why should Pro-Palestinian advocates like Franky care what the Palestinians want?

Typical Franco, you corner him and all he can do is copy/paste some non sequiturs in response.

The B'tselem and HRW reports on Israeli apartheid are the big human rights story of 2021.
This is the year that Israel is internationally identified as apartheid.

And the reason why Gaza is treated differently is detailed in those and the UN reports on Israeli apartheid.
But I know you won't ever read them or discuss their findings, all you can do now is Botha like denial.

Show me a poll that says Palestinians support the apartheid you defend.

By the way, Abbas is incredibly unpopular and the situation in Jerusalem better than the situation in the West Bank and better again than the situation in Gaza.
Its no surprise that those in Jerusalem don't want to live under a West Bank or Gaza style form of apartheid.

Sorry but your article is about how often a report was downloaded. But I'm sure that right leaning Israeli company loves getting traffic on their site from an alleged BDS supporter.

More bullshit. You haven't read the report. Like with the Jpost article, you read a headline and started frothing at the mouth. But you can try and prove me wrong by quoting what part of that report accounts for why West Bank Palestinians have a much better quality of life that those in Gaza.

And of course you don't deign to listen to why the 93% of East Jerusalem Palestinians would rather be Israeli. Thankfully they have a smart westerner to tell them what they should think.

Another bullshit red herring. Just a minute ago you were talking about the ICC definition but now you completely change topics.

There are polls that only 6% of Palestinians prefer the plan you want to force them into and one saying 93% would rather be Israeli citizens than Palestinian ones. There's also polling that says :

I'm sure that HRW and B'tselem would have no problem letting BDS supporters or anyone download their reports and neither would Harretz or any other Israeli newspaper.

P2
- The Gaza Strip is home to about two million Palestinians, also denied political rights. In 2005, Israel withdrew its forces from the Gaza Strip, dismantled the settlements it built there and abdicated any responsibility for the fate of the Palestinian population. After the Hamas takeover in 2007, Israel imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip that is still in place. Throughout all of these years, Israel has continued to control nearly every aspect of life in Gaza from outside.

Gaza has a much worse quality of life because Israel controls Gaza and wants them to suffer from malnutrition, lack of energy, lack of medicine, lack of construction materials and bombing attacks every year or two.

Its you that's changing the topic because you just admitted Israel is apartheid by your own definitions, with the Nation State law proving Israel is apartheid.
Now you're admitting that Palestinians don't support apartheid and trying to change the subject.

Israel is apartheid.

You should take a stand for equality and morality and work towards ending apartheid.

Right. They aren't part of the BDS movement that Canada says are often a front for antisemitism. You do a great job of pointing out the ridiculousness of your boycott claims. It's just like one of the big founders and advocates of boycotting Israeli academics has degrees from one of the institutions he demands be boycotted.

But I'm sure that right-wing Israeli companies appreciate your business.

Wow, that's another dumb claim and you are incapable of giving a single example of a legal right Israeli Arabs lost by that pointless law. I guess it's yet another thing you will never answer like why Gazans have it so much harder than those in the West Bank.

Just like you refuse to admit the story in the OP, 93% of East Jerusalem Palestinians would rather be ruled by Israel rather than be ruled by the PA or Hamas.
