Recommend a good auto mechanic in Scarborough or Markham?

My steering wheel has been hard to turn the last few days, especially on vehicle startup. (It gets somewhat better after a few minutes, but not great.)

Took it into a major auto repair chain this morning, and was told the steering shaft coupling needs to be replaced. Part cost quoted at $150, labour at $115 (1 hour) + tax. Was also told I have a leaky CV joint boot, part cost $30, labour at $172 (1.5 hours).

A quick search online seems to indicate the CV joint boot price is reasonable, while the steering shaft coupling seems to be way over priced (should be around $20-30 if I'm looking at the right thing?). Not sure if labour costs are reasonable or not.

I'd like to get a second opinion. Any recommendations for a good auto mechanic in Scarborough or Markham?

Thanks.

There's a bunch in Markham, at Mccowan and Highway 7 on Heritage Road which is one light North of Highway 7.

Thanks, but to clarify... I'm not having a problem finding mechanics in the area. I'm asking for Terbite's recommendations for specific shops where the mechanics are capable, honest, and charge a fair fee for the service they provide. Unfortunately I've dealt with a few shops where that wasn't the case, as I'm sure many here have.
