I have noticed that sometimes there is/are request for info on other parts of the world. Here is site that I did some research on last summer. I thought it was quite helpful. (Note that this is a pay site. $4.95 US/month)

Actually, www.worldsexguide.org is quite up to date. There is a Discussion Board section with daily discussions on all countries. Only the reports section is outdated.

Helpful Hint

If you really want up-to-date info, then just check in advance the back pages of the local newspapers of the city or town you will visit. I can't tell you how many times I've had breakfast at a hotel and read the paper and seen advertisements for places to check out, most of which were not found at any online index.

Your hotel would probably be more than willing to tell you the names of the local papers. Some of them will be online. Some may require a trip to a library. But a little research goes a long, long way. Sometimes you might even ask a concierge or cab driver where to go.

A lot of the reviews I read mentioned cab drivers (good and bad) and concierges.

The thing with WSA is that the reviewers are local. Whenever there was a question about Ontario, I either tried to answer them or referred them to terb or ermail. The same can be said about some of the other countries. There's a couple of guys who live in New Mexico, in Cuba, etc.

First hand experience is hard to beat.

oh, with cab drivers, its a given.

when i was in singapore, almost every single one tried to make small talk with me on call girls. i'm assuming they get kickbacks.

same thing with indoesnia. just more blunt -- he was asking me five seconds after packing my luggage into his cab.

quite the funny but brief convo we had.
