To book an independent SP who is working without a booker has been always a bit challenging. Girls are busy, answering texts in between/under/on top of a clients - Ok I got it. They are busy.
But somehow recently it became much harder. At least for me. I am hunting on Leolist, minus 70% of obvious scam, minus 10% of not so obvious scam - I am left with like 20% of ads which I potentially can message. But also I need to like the ad, right?
And among the ones I like I get reply in like 10% of contact attempts. And less than half of them end-up in bookings. I am very polite, I introduce myself. Ask for services, price. Then ask for location. All in a very polite manner.
Today I was trying to book Aimy Haze (not going to post a link, google it id you want) - the conversation just stopped in the middle, when I was about to ask for a confirmation. No answer.
Tried to contact well known provider. Got a reply "Please, contact from a real number". Well, my number IS real, 647 area code. Costs money, btw. It is given that this is NOT MY MAIN phone number. I am not that crazy. (Like she is answering me from HER main number! Sweety, it is a 2-way street!) I politely offered another way to authenticate myself:
1.Confirm, that my terb handle is active since 2013 with quite a few reviews.
2. Send $5 via e-transfer.
Silence was an answer to me.
And that silence is one more reason what pissing me off. Somehow it became socially acceptable to interrupt conversation in the middle - and just walk away. Just say "No" - and be gone. But you won't bother to say something to me, you ask other be polite with you, but don't bother to be polite yourself. And this is socially acceptable behavior now.
Why do I bother with Leolist and indies at all? Well, not to many agencies have incalls in Oakville/Burlington (actually just one - DD), and they are usually solid booked-out. And I am getting a bit old to drive 30-40 minutes for a fuck to Mississauga.
Just a rant. No need to answer.
P.S. Ended-up booking with ASB. Long time ago I sent them $10 to confirm my identity - and been using them a lot ever since.
