I was wondering if there's anyone here who has gone through prostate cancer? I've been recently diagnosed and I'm actually having my entire prostate removed next week. Because of the proximity of the cancer to the nerve that can control erections, there's less than a 50% chance of me ever able to have a full erection again naturally. Not even sure if pills will work. There are other prosthetics, that I will look into. If needed. My question for the guys here, assuming I can get it up, I've been told that the orgasm changes from physical ejaculation to more of a mental orgasm. I'm not sure what that's going to be like and was wondering if anyone here can shed their experiences? Without the physical ejaculation, does that mean that a man can be multi-orgasmic? Just wondering.

I have had clients who have had surgery and don’t physically ejaculate. They still truly enjoy their session. They also ink get semi hard but at least for me, I have still be able to give a good blowjob. No multiples from what I know. LOL.

I’m sorry for your diagnosis. This must have been very hard to hear. I hope you get some more first hand advice and comments but from an escorts side of things, it is fine.

On Facebook there is the Facebook Cancer Support Group.

I would highly suggest that anybody with this condition join.

The information on there is invaluable...There are many threads on this very topic.

I wish you much success on this journey.

And although I'm a Yankee fan...This one time I'll say Go Jays!

Is there any other option to full removal? I know a few people from my past that had it and it seemed to suck the life outta them TBH. I would consider any treatment other then if possible. Like radioactive isotopes places near the cancer for instance. In any case. Do NOT do this just because you are freaked out and want it removed. Thats my advice from what I have observed.

I have had two people I know get prostate cancer.

First was a 60 year old Dentist friend who had stage 4 prostate cancer. He didn't want a radical prostectomy and instead paid for proton beam therapy at MD Andersen in the US. Put him into remission for 5 years or so then started having bladder problems, infections and complications from that. He recently passed 8 years after diagnosis.

Another guy was 50 when he was diagnosed with Stage 2. Since he was a fat, out of shape married guy married to the same in a woman, he had no sex life so didn't hesitate to get the radical prostectomy rather than trying radiation, the little radioactive seeds etc. That was 10 years ago and he has had no recurrence. I don't have the stomach to ask how his sex life is. One thing to note was that he was like 425 lbs and had to lose 125 lbs before the surgeons could even operate. So he got bariatric surgery forst to get his weight down. He's stayed at about 250 ever since.

But in the case of the OP, if his oncologist has recommended the removal, then it's more of a matter of life and death, not fucking.

Having said that, the prostate is the walnut sized gland under your t'aint that produces the liquid part of semen that gets mixed with sperm.. So there will be no ejaculating. I don't know the success rate of still getting wood afterwards but as he said, the surgeon said maybe, maybe not. But as I understand it, you can still have an orgasm and the same feeling.

I knew a guy years ago who had a plastic rod implanted in his dick. So best he said was that he could stick it in but it was not full of blood so it was only at the soft size, but with enough rigidity to get 'er in.

Best of luck @gojays ! Good they caught it early. Was it first detected by elevated PSA, symptoms or the finger up the ass?

I wish you well, but prepare yourself. All the people that had surgery to remove it, don't get erections anymore.

what scares me even more is the possibility of loosing bladder control and having to wear a diaper

I am late 50's and my doc convinced me to take a PSA after I had decided to stop taking these tests. He said 50-60 was the most risky for aggressive prostate cancer. So I looked at my older PSA tests online and the trend was no going in the right direction. However the most recent test was way down and I did not even abstain cos he did not tell me to. That drives up the score. So best of luck to all of us. 😬

do you have any idea why your PSA number went down?

did you make any changes in your lifestyle or diet?

very curious because I'm in the same boat and my numbers are creeping up

what did you not abstain from?

I know a guy who still had a sex life after getting prostate cancer and having an operation. He was an active hobbyist. Speaking from having had benign prostate problems needing what the doctor described as roto rootering, the orgasm isn't a mental one. It is still physical, but with no money shot. It took me a few months to regain some of my former power, but it improved with time. I wish you all the best and hope you can get some positive feedback from professionals. Wishing you a speedy recovery and hopefully a return to some pleasure in your life.
