How old was he there?Harry might want us to think he’s all woke, but we won’t forget. I believe he’s what one may refer to as a “plonker” in the UK.
I believe it was 2005, so around 20.
Before any1 jumps in with the “he was only 20” defense, given his rank in British society and the history of the Nazis, the Battle of Britain etc. Harry should have known better. Infact, any kid with any sense would know this much. That’s is why I’m referring to him as a “plonker”.
Also let’s not forget the time he decided to play GIJoe in Afghanistan, and had to have a whole squad of Gurkhas risking their necks to protect him; not to mention the SAS going in to rescue/protect? at one point when they came under attack.

Okay, so he's a spoiled mega-trust fund brat with wretched judgment. That said, the UK right wing tabloid press hounded his wife for years with dog whistles about her "lack of suitability" for royal life - i.e. she's Black - and Harry and Meghan truly were treated like shit. Because she's Black. That's it. He let the team down because he married a non white.
He could have married another mega-trust fund white society girl, repeated the same script his mom and dad did and the UK tabloids would have lapped it up. The past indiscretions would have been washed away and he would have been the second coming of Lord fucking Jesus and the "Hope of the Nation". There would have been photo ops galore, cutting ribbons, giving speeches and wearing military uniforms and the good times would have rolled.

Did he though? Every interview, etc has been about how cruel they were to him and his wife. The UK tabloids had a field day with her for 2 years but she’s no saint and let’s face it, before Harry she was a B-grade TV actress and divorced from some TV producer. If these two were serious about breaking the mold and living their lives in privacy, they’d just shut up and lie low for a few years. As for the whole “service” and duty thing, it was devised by the Royal Family to remain relevant, when monarchs all over Europe were being tossed out or executed.

Because then he’s not free of them. He might be physically far away, but the fact is they take up so much real estate in his mind that every interview he does is about them. Let’s be honest here, he can just say no to interviews or certain topics because if he’s said his peace He can move on, but instead he keeps going on and on like a broken record.
I have no issue with her being an actress or divorced from a TV producer, other than it pretty much shows where her priorities lie - fortune and fame. All her so called charity and service just comes off as disingenuous.

If I remember correctly, Charles only started paying income tax some years ago. Prior to that all income earned from their inheritance (which is a lot of prime real estate) was tax-free. LOL it’s damn good to be the Royalty in Britain.

Yeah, this all comes about because England and Scotland needed a Protestant King, which opened the door to the House of Hanover, after the debacle of the Stewarts (of Scotland) and their flirtation with Catholicism.
