Pope John Paul II Live Public Funeral Broadcast *Need Info ASAP*

Hello all,



I am wondering if anyone has heard anything about anywhere in Toronto tonight at 4:00AM (CA Time) - 10:00AM (IT Time) where there is going to be a public funeral gathering for Pope Jogn Paul II? Big TV screens broadcasting the funeral live from Italy at City Hall or something?

I have called 5 Catholic churches and they are all closed, I called the Catholic Archdiases (sp?) and they are closed, I've checked ALL the papers, asked people, and nothing. And it leaves me thinking/feeling WTF?!?

I can't believe that the city of Toronto would do fuck-all or think to do fuck-all about having a place where people can go to watch the funeral and grieve with other people, when Pope John Paul II was just here 2 years ago for World Youth Day.

If anyone has heard anything or know where there is something going on in the city tonight I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I believe that CTV, and Global have live coverage of the Pope's funeral starting 4:00 am. People will watch it in the comfort of their own home. Did you try the Polish community/church?

I just found out that at St. Eugene's Church in Brampton is the ONLY place that is going to be broadcasting the funeral at 4:00AM on a large video screen that they already have setup. Thanks everyone and lasslicker for the link to the website. *hugs*
