West Ottawa is intended to be the western part of the pre-amalgamation city. Too many areas to include separately.

For me, Vanier is out, too sketchy. Gatineau also, I haven't crossed the river to visit a provider in a lot of years.

Clicked what would not be ideal, but being realistic I'd drive pretty darn far for the right provider. An extra 20min in the car is worth it to not settle

I agree with Rainah. Also Vanier has good parts and not so good parts to it for example beechwood is still vanier and I’d still venture there as it’s also still central.

The results I see are pretty much what I'd expect - Vanier is a no go area for a lot of people, while others won't go across the river or too far east or west. The only small surprise is that downtown isn't larger, given the difficulty parking.

And sure, there's always exceptions. I've been meaning to go see Chloe again, even though she's out in Kanata.

Agreed. Someone like me will skew results because I loathe driving downtown trying to find parking, navigating between all the construction and cab drivers. I would rather travel all the way west than be downtown. Also, the privacy. Being downtown is not discrete at all especially if you have colleagues there.

Any part of the city after dark where I think my car may get broken into. Day time relaxes my vigilance and I have a wider choice.
