A court in NYC has indicted the gang of 4 at the NRA. Lots of goodies and cash furnished to Trump and other right wing pols. Meanwhile Rush is talking about a 4th debate when they haven't even had the first one. Get the hell on with it!!!

The NRA is a manufacturers lobby, not a 2nd amendment group, and has been in serious internal pressures for the past year. Don't think it surprises anyone that it's corrupt as hell.
LOL, do people understand that the NRA is one of the most vanilla gun lobbies in the US? Their replacement won't be as polite.
I don’t think it’s just the manufacturers although are certainly part of it. For some people, the NRA is a cultural institution or an evangelical church...and these people got ripped off by their corrupt leaders.
I actually feel bad for the blue collar NRA members who have been taken to the cleaners. Unfortunately, I think the whole gun culture debate is so politically polarizing that it creates a strong Us Against the Libs mentality in the NRA to the point that they are blindly loyal to their leaders. They hate/fear the Libs so much that they allow themselves to be exploited. It’s kinda their own fault for being such fanatics in the first place- this is usually what ends up happening.
Wasn’t it Oliver North (of all people) who blew the whistle on LaPierre and his cronies a few years ago when he was the NRA president...and then North got forced out by the NRA board and LaPierre took over? I guess Ollie North is getting the last laugh (if he’s still alive?)
At least the NRA serves a useful function, unlike WE, which is purely a money-making operation for the Trudeaus and their friends.
