I was talking with a dancer who told me they have created an area in the parking lot with table dancing and stage shows outdoors. No lap dances of course.

Interesting.
I wonder if it'll be worth the drive down there. I'll wait for some feedback before I plan a trip.

This is going to be huge. With all the other clubs being closed and all the dancers clamoring for work, they will have a monstrous turnout. They can pick and choose which girls they'll allow to work from a nearly unlimited pool. A monopoly on hot women.
I'll finally be able to get rid of this mess from around the house.

How many dancers want to work where you cannot do lap dances and actually make your money? Answer: NONE. If you want to go waste your (fake) "hoard" of money on a DJ and overpriced alcohol, go for it. Heck, you can send me some of your money and I'll help you spend it. Us wise people (like Roadhog) will keep our money.

With the threat of the $2k government plan ending, sugar daddies getting tight - I'm aware of a few looking at it. Many are willing to hook up later so I doubt the lap dancing is the primary motivation. I'm curious about noise bylaws due to the Sundowner's location.

If it works John owns the Locomotion complex which is in an industrial area. I would think he could use his parking lot and a little privacy fencing to do the same thing.

And then cooler weather arrives (almost always the day after Labour Day!!), and then what?

Not ever getting the opportunity for a dance or to even watch a dance.

---
Management of the strip club did not respond to interview requests from The Standard Friday, but Niagara’s acting medical officer of health said that under provincial emergency orders to fight to the COVID-19 pandemic live entertainment, including adult entertainment venues, are not permitted to reopen.

“Their intention is to open a patio as food service venue with less than completely clad servers,” said Dr. Mustafa Hirji. “So public health inspectors will be there to inspect the premises as it opens.”

...

Live entertainment — from concerts, to live theatre to burlesque shows — are not permitted under phase two because those events represent an increased risk of spreading the novel coronavirus virus, which causes the potentially deadly COVID-19 disease.

As long as the Sundowner’s patio does not include live strip shows, the strip club will be allowed to operate, according to Hirji.
