they come up with all kinds of ideas for tv shows. doesn't mean they're all going to take off. but then again, alot of lame tv show ideas do take off. dog the bounty hunter for instance was a pretty lame tv idea. yet it took off for a few seasons.
show about an old guy and his wife chasing after junkie losers that can barely defend themselves and can barely fight cause they have so much drugs in their system. against an old guy and his wife and his two sons armed with everything from mace to batons yet people can't help but tune in and watch.
then there is dr phil.
dr. oz.
oh, and that guy that used to be a bouncer on the jerry springer show. now he's got his own show posing as a professional head fixer for all kinds of people's issues.
then there's the lame judge shows where troublemakers come to court complaining about small court problems. judge judy. judge brown.
A & E already has a tv show called off the strip , where a woman in las vegas tries to save women on the vegas strip while they are working the casino and hotel floors. So with A& E track record they will pass on as a show.
Canadian TV they had a woman give women interventions on being mistresses. She host anonymous meetings around the city. claimed she had an affair with Gordan Ramsey.
A&E Has no problem doing a reality tv show of male strippers and praising them for their stud lifestyles but when it comes to females that is where they need to send in a rescue squad.
It really doesn't matter if its an american TV or Canadian TV station starting it, Canada gets American Channels and the few canadians channels they do have they are always in a board room trying to come up with the next years line up. If they run out of ideas they always seem to default to something bashing woman and how they choose to express or celebrate their sexual power.
