So after my two nights in Vietnam (also posted report there), I flew out to Phnom Penh for my very first trip to Cambodia. First the entry was a pain in the butt. Much like with Vietnam, I needed to get an evisa in advance which is a money grab. Upon check in for me flight at the Ho Chi Minh airport, I was instructed to do a second visa which is the arrival visa. Good thing I did this while still in Vietnam because upon landing in Phnom Penh I was sort of fast tracked into a shorter immigration line. The poor folks who did not have this nor the evisa had to endure a much longer line to buy a visa on arrival. Anyway, I ordered a Grab tuk tuk and took an entertaining ride to the city.

Much like in Ho Chi Minh, motorbike were zipping side by side with the tuk tuks and cars. I could touch those zipping along side of our tuk tuk as I watch at times entire families with toddlers all without helmets on same scooters as well as those who decide to drive up along sidewalks before finding an opening to swerve back onto roads. Safety standards are indeed different here as both guys and gals were equally aggressive on the roads.

Made it to my hotel Point Boutique which I would totally recommend for mongers. It's right at the start of street 130 at the waterfront. Street 130 is one of the main girlie bar streets while the adjacent streets 136 and 118 with 130 in the middle are the other two main ones with 136 being the one with the most girlie bars. So this was a great home base for my next two nights with lots of food spots all in the area too. The waterfront is also a nice spot to just chill out and I was able to walk to tourist attractions like what Phnom where the bats tree is as well as the Royal Palace.

Of course the main attraction for us with the girls, this was the prime spot. Even other girlie streets like 110 were within easy walking with street 5 criss crossing all the main streets. The overall vibe I got was that the PP scene was an old frontiers type of red light area. At night, all the girls were sitting outside their bars and as soon as I walked by, the cat calling started. And they are loud too. Much like with other reports, there are not a ton of mongers here so the ratio of girls to customers is very lop sided in our favour. Been like that for awhile and I do have a theory why. Outside of mongering, I personally did not find much else of tourist interest to me. I'm not into the genocide attractions and the two I already mentioned could be seen within a morning. So I actually got a bit bored here. Also the place overall is a bit on the dumpy side with bad infrastructure for pedestrians and smell of garbage at times. I even saw bags of garbage floating down the river.

Back to the girls. I found whenever there were huge masses of girls together calling for your attention, it's sometimes awkward to approach to single one out for a private conversation. Although they were trying to get me in for drinks first, I resisted since I'm really not interested in drinking with the girls. On my first night I did spot a MILF at one bar who was a bit separated from her colleagues and therefore was an easy approach. I inquired about short time after reading that some girls might not go out with customers and wanted to screen out these drink queens. My MILF agreed to $50 after initially quoting $70 with $20 as the bar fine. I'm glad I took her as it ended up being a great unrushed total GFE session back at the hotel. Also my hotel told me all we had to do is have the girls submit ID and we were good to go up without any extra charges.

After our session and we parted back on the street, she suggested we get together for dinner the next day and I was thinking of doing this but since I had only two nights here, I wanted to try another girl. For my next night I took a young looking girl with glasses from another bar and to keep this short, I got her for the same $50 and $20 bar fine without drinks after being turned down by another at another bar who wanted $100 for short time. This young thing with glasses turned out to be a disaster session as she became quite non communicative as soon as we left the bar for my hotel. There was zero passion and although it seemed she was just going to rush things, I ended the session early which surprised her. She actually seemed disappointed and didn't even shower up afterwards and left as soon as she put on her clothes without even saying goodbye.

So one win and one lost for me here in PP. Maybe I should have done a screening drink after all so I'll re-evaluate my own strategy. Or maybe just not pull any girl that looks too young as they might be too inexperienced.

Overall, at this point of my four country trip with Cambodia being the second one, I prefer Vietnam. I'm sure that Thailand will be awesome so it's unlikely I'll return to Phnom Penh. I'm off to Siem Reap for the Angkor what temples and I already know that mongering will be almost nonexistent there but that's okay since my plan all along was to do the tourist things there before moving onto Thailand. Thanks for all those who answered my many questions here this year and I hope my report here was worthwhile.

I fly out tomorrow for Thailand and will stay in Pattaya for four nights before heading to Bangkok for two nights.
I enjoyed Pattaya more than Bangkok. But your missing out on not going to the Philippines. I found the girls there to be the best experiences I had.

Is Philippines still cheaper? The big advantage there otherwise is that everyone speaks English, so you can talk with the girls beyond a few words. Filipinas also tend to be thicker with bigger boobs if that's your thing (it isn't mine). Philippines also has much better diving and snorkeling if you want to try it.

Thailand is a bit overwhelming with the sheer volume of sex workers available. It's rather insane. Ironically though, the sex itself is pretty tame compared to the west. And all the bars look and work similar to one another, as do the massage parlours, etc. In a plane with that many venues, you may expect more variety than there is. It's all very same same.

Nice report!

Never went to Phnom Penh but I'll be heading to Siem Reap soon & am really disappointed if your research is correct that there's no scene there! I had imagined a toned down Pattaya.

No matter what - you'll have fun in Thailand!

Can't wait to read the posts regardless!

I liked the mongering action in Angeles City as well as LA Cafe in Manila but there was much less touristy things to see in Philippines and the infrastructure is definitely worse there compared to Thailand.
