Indonesia was my final country in my four countries tour which also included Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand (reports on those already posted). It was just a single night stay since my main thing here is a week long scuba diving trip in Raja Ampat, a much more remote area of Indonesia.
Flying in from Bangkok, I took the airport link train to city centre and then a Grab to Classic Hotel so I could simply go downstairs to take in the Classic Terminal 2 which is the most talked about mongering venue in Jakarta.
Although previous reports suggested we go early to this venue about 6-7 pm, that timing didn’t work out for me and I ended up going at 10 pm. Sure enough the place which is like a huge nightclub inside, was hopping. At the entrance, staff puts on a bracelet on your wrist with a number. This number will be used to track your orders and activities during your visit.
As soon as you walk inside, waiting mamasans will intercept you and try to take you to one of the small round tables in the middle of the club. There was a stage with some dancers and along most of the walls of the club were either single or double rows of sofas where the girls were sitting. The estimates of over 200 girls might be correct and they were all dressed to kill in short dresses and high heels. Most were quite young in their 20s and maybe some in 30s but certainly no milfs here. One one far side of the club were some pool tables
