If you ideologues would stop and think about it, this policemen job is to protect "all lives". I wouldn't want to go into the emergency room in critical condition and have my doctor and nurse saying "black lives matter".

I find the woman scary. Why is it so important for the policeman to repeat a slogan on her command?
Slogans good - four legs good, two legs better...

Saying the statement that all lives matter is a form of systemic racism is ridiculous and irrational. The problems will never be solved with ridiculousness and irrationality.
Ridiculousness is useless!

Or, they mean all lives matter. And in doing so, are saying Black Lives Matter. We need more cops like this. They were baited and taped to hopefully catch a triggering and they stayed calm and professional. And, they feel that all lives matter and are important.
Again, you make the argument for defunding these types of cops and putting that into social services.
A refusal to acknowledge that Black lives matter is a refusal to accept what 90% of Americans know.

I don't make that argument and stop telling me what arguments I am making-your brain creates that argument. I make the argument for hiring cops who care about all and who are professional and can remain calm, even when race baited.

I consider myself left of centre but have always said that I am beholden to no one side or ideology.

I see nothing wrong with "all lives matter". Blacks are treated worse than whites, so black lives matter is a fair assertion to get to a point where blacks are treated equally and hence, all lives matter equally which is, I believe, all that people are looking for.

The argument on this one really is that by refusing to say BLM and saying ALM you are denying that systematic racism exists or that its a problem. As the George Floyd killing showed, the police treat Black Americans as if their lives don't matter and for police to say ALM is a smart ass way of refusing to acknowledge that Black Lives Matter too. You could argue that BLM as a movement name should be Black Lives Matter Too, as the movement's goal isn't to establish special rights only to confirm that the same rights should be applied systematically to BIPOC. To say ALM is not to say 'you're not special, princess,' but to say 'we aren't changing anything for you, the system is the system'.

Really, saying BLM is just basic decency, admitting there are issues that need to be addressed.
Saying ALM is saying 'deal with it, we're not changing'.
