I texted her, showed up at the Comfort Inn - Gatineau, and was told to wait.
Apparently the (maid) was in the room. Ummm, right.
I asked for the room number and she said wait another 10 minutes.
I have been down this road before, (and also I am not patient), so I bailed.
About 30 minutes later - my curiosity got the best of me.
Since there was still no message from her (no "coast is now clear" message), I texted her asking what gives ?
I told her I had been waiting for her all this time.
She said that "because" I did not text her back "ok" to her last message, she thought I left.
Basically, she never bothered to text me back to tell me that the "maid" had finished and it was ok to come in !!!
Nice follow-up.
So, my time - wasted.
Or, perhaps the Universe was being kind to me that day - to spare me from a negative encounter.... I may never know.
Has anyone else seen her ?
