He spent a year trying to find ways to avoid sharing the money with the wife, and he and his advisers came up with the brilliant idea to put the money in a canadian bank account!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, you'd think after mulling it over for a year, you'd have an amazingly smooth disappearance plan, and you'd be wise to split your money into four or five equal chunks, differing countries, so that worst case scenario you'd have one or two BIG chunks in the event that a few chunks got grabbed or "lost".

Not only that, but what's the problem just telling the exes, "I won the lottery, here's a $1million or $2million each, have fun--and oh, if this isn't enough and you get greedy, try and find the money."

I could see a guy being cheap if he won $1 or $2 million, but $30 million???

Why are people so dumb? Especially those who win $30 million prizes??

Not if the courts put a freeze on your account, you can't. Plus, once it's in your bank account I'm sure accountants can trace it to wherever you transfer it. Swiss bank accounts aren't what they used to be.

He had a month to move the money to an off shore account before the court froze his bank account.
