...and in typical Liberal fashion, offer an apology that tries to justify their actions while telling the rest of us what to think...btw he peeled off 100 stickers not just one.

"Lest this go any further, I want to make it clear that defacing stickers on gasoline pumps is against the law and I don't...recommend anyone do it, no matter how morally and intellectually indefensible these stickers are," he wrote. "I regret deeply that my actions may have detracted from the genuine and honest work that so many others are doing to fight the global climate crisis."

He should be in jail for vandalism.

Liberals don't trust anyone, thats why they want to regulate everything.
But time after time, they are the ones who can't be trusted.

When you have a stupid plan, make it a law to force people to obey putting stickers on gas pumps.
Typical con playbook.
No. It's the law.
He should be charged for breaking it.

Whether you think it's a stupid law or not is purely opinion.
The law is the law and this Libtard broke it.

It is strictly a political ploy. Maybe we should have to put stickers on our houses saying we are paying too much property tax because of some Liberal legislation.

There were already stickers on there explaining the taxes.
Why not know how much carbon tax is being added?

And this isn’t about whether you agree with the stickers, this is about someone breaking the law.
Why is that ok?

He made the law up, to back up a really stupid policy.
I'm sure if he made it illegal to walk forwards you'd be putting your shoes on backwards.

The law is the law. You have a problem with the law, cry to your MPP and follow the process to change it.
Disagreeing with the law is not an excuse to break it.
Try that defence in court and see how far you get.

Sure it is, lets see how far that law would stand with a court challenge.

In early September, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association filed a lawsuit against the legislation that compels gas stations to display the stickers, arguing that the law runs contrary to Charter protections around freedom of expression. The claim has not yet been tested in court. The CCLA cites in their claim a penalty for a second incident of non-compliance, embedded in the legislation, of up to $10,000 per day.

it is the Cons who are regulating the signage on pumps, and of course they omit mentioning the rebate . Typical Con con.

There is no law forbidding you from making an intelligent post, so what's holding you back?

Again this misleading Dumb DOFO Government is not honest and by not informing about the rebates in tax credits that could rise to $648 by 2022.

Yet they are wasting taxpayers money in the millions to fight a losing battle in the courts against this Carbon Tax, even though the Canadians and especially the Ontarians voted for the Government that implemented this Tax. DUMB DOFO in action!!

There a lot of stupid laws. Does that mean we should break them?

stickers are another waste of taxpayers money. They are making cuts and screwing up healthcare and education and yet continue to squander taxpayer money on stickers frivolous law suits( carbon tax). The gas station I frequent has the stickers on the pumps in French. I have no idea how many French speaking people there are in this area, I know I am not one of them. What angers me most is I voted for the useless tit!

So you pay at the pump and then get the money back as a rebate. Doesn't make much sense and does nothing to reduce carbon.

“Let’s see” is not an excuse for breaking the law.

Maybe one day we can walk down the street on a hot summer day drinking a cold beer...do it now and you’ll get fined.
I don’t like that law..,but it’s not an excuse to break it.

If they change that law in the future fine...right now it’s the law.

Why is that so hard for you to comprehend?
