This may sound pretty obvious to you experienced hobbyist, but I thought I would share my mistakes and red flags. Please indulge me and be gentle.

1) When the response to your initial query text message to the SP is super quick (cut and paste), chances are you’re dealing with some operator in some third world country. You know this when the next reply to your queries take over 30 minutes and the response does not address your questions and is riddled with spelling mistakes and incoherent sentences.

2) Never agree to purchase a gift card as payment. If you do, don’t give them the card number and authority code before you meet them in person. If you do, you probably just lost your money to some pimp scammer.

3) Never pay a deposit unless you know the provider who is in good standing. Beware of the hit and run.

4) Always Google the picture of the provider to check for fakes. Use of a pornstar picture is a definite clue. I didn’t know that Lelu Love was offering escort services in Ottawa the other day lol.

5) If the SP Fee is low with little restrictions, chances are that she is a scammer. But not always. You get what you pay for.

6) If a provider says she looks like the picture, you will most likely get a surprise when she knocks on your door.

7) Always check the reviews (ieTerb) before commiting.

Please feel free to add your bad experiences, tips, warnings etc. Much appreciated.

With today's inflation what is to low today $$?🤔
I think a lot of SP’s are eating the inflation costs. When you look at prices on every day commodities, everything has gone up. SP pricing still remains the same. I would offer that we need to brace ourselves for an increase in prices. But to answer your question, if a younger apparently hot SP is asking for below 250/hr then you can almost guarantee that she’s a scam.

Man, I missed Lelu Love's visit ! I always miss big name porn stars passing through our fair city.... :D

Even here you have to be aware of flowery reviews, embellishers and non-truths. Not everyone has the same definitions or tastes. They generally get called-out pretty quickly.

This isn't really a scam or anything but im pretty new to this "hobby". The only 2 sessions ive done is one with an incall escort and one with a Massage place.

In both cases i booked a 45 or hour session, when you finish 20-30 minutes in... because they are going full force relatively early into the session, you don't get the rest / its an awkward situation IMO. Thats perhaps my fault for not estimating my endurance but i figured they would pace things according to the session time or at least we could have some post finish fun.. nope lol. The hour session ending in 30 minutes was extra akward because i was like "we still have a half hour" and she kinda looked at me like...k... and then we were just chatting clothed lmfao.

So basically book like 30 minutes typically unless you just take forever to finish. I don't really blame them, most of them put on a straight face but I imagine most wanna get it over with and move on lol.

I will preface this by saying any person offering any service can charge whatever they want for that service and the market will decide if the price is appropriate. However, I completely disagree that the providers are absorbing the inflation costs. If inflation is 8% then a provider who was charging $200-$250 would increase their rates by $16-$20. However, this has not been the case. Many are charging at minimum $240 and many are over $300. Some of the ladies who were already charging well above others went from $350 to $450. Again, well over inflation. My guess is that many providers lost a lot of income during the lockdowns etc. and are looking to make up some lost income. Or, perhaps they are looking at this as an opportunity to reset their rates? Regardless, they charge what they charge and people either pay their rate or go see someone else in their budget range. If you can no longer afford these services, maybe the industry isnt for you. If the ladies find that they are not generating enough income at their current rates then perhaps they lower them or realize this industry is not for them. Simple economics if you ask me, but I completely disagree with the assertion that a lot of SPs are eating the inflation costs.

I agree with most of what you say however, if an SP is using hotels(decent ones), or maintaining an incall location, one only has to look at how prices have gone up for these things. If pricing remains the same for an SP, yet everything else goes up, the SP “is” eating the inflation. Understandably, there are the opportunists out there and of course the scammers, who will jack their prices to milk us for every penny and provide a mediocre service at best. Budgets will always be a factor and the onus is on us to find a “good”or “good enough” SP within our price range.

I get where you're coming at with inflation but everything has increased in price so $20 may not be enough for most of them, that's why you see $50--$100 increases. It is a bummer but so is inflation, you blame the corporations, govt, and the many people in the know for that. No superman around here though.

Good thoughts there.

I'll add this:

How many individuals during the pandemic saw their income raise significantly AND reduced the services or good they provide?

The pandemic was used by service providers to switch the infamous safe services only and jack up their rates.

I didn't get any raises and my productivity output has remained at the same level.

Something to think about.

After the pandemic, the inflation, now we have increased interest rates. Stay tuned for the reception Boyz and Girlz.

Listen, I don’t like paying more for services. Nobody does.

But let me tell you something. I’m in my mid-40s. My first foray into this hobby was when I was about 20.

Back then:
- a litre of gas cost 60 cents
- you could pay for a candy bar with a looney and get change back
- a pack of cigarettes was 5 bucks
- $250k got you a fully detached 4 bedroom home in the suburbs with a big backyard
- the standard prices in this industry were 140hh / 200h

You see where I’m going with this lol… if you simply compare 2022 prices to 2021 prices, you’re missing the forest for the trees.

Economics says supply equals demand. Now the dilemma is what's the equalibrium price ? Which leads to the question, value for money. Measure the price of milk. Milk is now $5.29 for 3 bags. Two years ago it Was $3.99. Prices for other commodities remains stable, but volume has been reduced. Think about it.

I've seen some girls raising their prices, some girls lowering their prices, and some girls keeping it flat. I think they're all trying to figure out how to handle pricing right now, when a lot of people just don't have a lot of spare cash for this sort of thing.

If she has no reviews anywhere, skip !

Back in 2016 or so, when backpage was the place for escorts, you could genuinely find newbies with amazing pics and they were real. now in 2022 those girls have onlyfans. and whats on leolist is a ton of fake scammers and some real reviewed girls. so only book with the real reviewed girls.

again, for the people who are slow learners:
no reviews = pass
