Paul Anka wrote English lyrics to a French song, Comme D'habitude, by Claude Francois.
The English lyrics of My Way are completely different; only the music is the same. Claude Francois was a big star in France, and a Darwin Award winner. He died at age 39 by electrocution, trying to adjust a light fixture while taking a bath.

Have to add "Shakin' All Over" by Chad Allen & The Expressions, although that song was originally out of England by Johnny Kidd & The Pirates in 1960.

Fly at night was also the one that caught my eye. I actually looked at the list 3 times because I could not believe it was not listed.
What the hell, I will throw this in too. Not a huge Max Webster fan but could maybe add this song and their "Gravity" song also.

Yeah, when they first came out I did not think much of them. But these two songs really grow on you:
Summer of "69 should be the favourite of all terbites as the "69" does not refer to the year (Adams was only 9 years old in 1969) but to the sexual position.

Ok, except that Bryan Adams had a Tom Cruise pov about women. Maybe he was ridiculed by them due to his acne problems as a teen, evening the score through song. He wrote several songs about two timing and the video to Summer of 69 suggests that his lover was eventually beaten or murdered at the end. He definitely had to work through some demons.
