The grand ole dame of the fine cuisine set has passed away in her sleep in Santa Barbara. Met her a few years back at the cookbook store at Yonge/Cumberland. She was a real fine lady, great cook and war hero. I'm sure butter futures as nose diving right now.

Can't help but think of the SNL skit with her blood spurting everywhere.
