I agree...If being proved wrong actually changed anyone’s opinion we would not have Nazis marching around in 2020...nor would we have anti-vaxxers, moon landing conspiracists, QAnon, etc.

At some point it is simply not in the public interest to allow racists to continually spew their toxic views into the public discourse.

Should Rogan’s show be cancelled? It gleefully spreads disinformation, conspiracies, and racist talking points. It is obviously not going to get cancelled but anyone who watches that crap is a loser.
let's be fair, Rogan critiqued those who question climate change, he also accepts as a fact Russian 2016 interference. This is pretty good for a guy who works for trump's buddy dana white.

So you're wrong then I get it.......You sound angry too dude like that Cuomo guy is all the time.
You seemed to have this "anger" / "angry" obsession with all those who do not share your alt right views. Just take your medication and all will be well.

Chris Cuomo has far more substance in his shows as compared to the likes of Hannity!!

Agreed, but Joe Rogan's show talks about any and everything. He just needs to keep his show in check.

No, the fact that Black immigrants can come in with better education, better training, more confidence and then succeed just shows that it is systematic.
You make a valid point. My issue is with the word "systemic'. It's an awfully all-encompassing adjective to describe racism. Perhaps we won't agree on this. My view is that since I have worked with many educated, trained and confident Black immigrants who were successful, it would not have been possible if the U.S. was systemically racist.

Racism exists in the U.S. and Canada and that will never change. There's a political motive in using the phrase "systemic" racism. You're always quick to pick up the political messaging

It is a very long form interview format. Too long for my tastes. I would love for him to edit the show. Three hours, seriously?

Systematic covers differing treatment by police, housing segregation with differing levels of services and taxation, funding for education, legal treatment and job prospects.
The amounts of racism can and does change. Hate crimes are way up under Trump.
But even watching old movies and tv shows you can see that things have changed considerably, though they still have far to go.

Too long and he isn't nearly interesting enough. But then I had that complaint about talk radio in the past. Lots of people clearly disagree since Limbaugh ran his show 3 hours or so for years when he was the biggest thing around. (Probably still does). Not for me but clearly there is an audience.

I'm not sure why you would think systemic means that no one can succeed? Systemic just means it is spread throughout or fundamentally engrained into the system, not that it is perfectly efficient.

Systemic is a fairly subjective determination in the case of today's racism. We can say that the Jim Crow South was systemically racist. Perhaps some of today's racism is subtle, but on the other extreme there are major efforts to lift up Blacks in society.

Systemic racism is used to define almost every challenge a young black person has. He doesn't eat vegetables. It's systemic racism. He acts up and can't pay attention in school. It's systemic racism.

We're just going to have to disagree here. I don't care if media has jumped on this term. Once you have the belief that government can and should solve all problems, you're going to see racism in the cultural challenges that have been faced by every underclass group regardless of race and ethnicity.

No, systematic racism is used very specifically.
Police treatment.
Education funding.
Housing segregation.
......

Not for eating vegetables.

The vegetables comment was a representation of poor nutrition, obesity and inner city food deserts that are often blamed on racism.
