Jack Paar dies

As a youth, back in the fifties, I remember watching Jack Paar. I had to get up out of bed and sneak around the house to watch him at that late hour but it was worth it. He and his guests were great fun. Hearing of his passing makes me feel sad and a hell of a lot older.

He's way before my time, but i am aware of him.

I had seen a special he did on TV maybe 10 or more years ago. A very intelligent guy.

From what i remember, he was sort of blackballed for being a little too radical for hollywood at the time.

I seem to recall reading that he fought often with the NBC uppity-ups. I'm a tad too young to remember him on The Tonight Show, but my parents loved him.
