However, there are escorts that are responsible enough to not be so foolish.
Everywhere else in life there are plenty of awful people with a handful of gems who are professional, why exclude escorts?

I am skeptical of much of what I read and what most claim, but I'd like to remain open minded for someone to explain how it would work.

That’s a good point. I just don’t know why any man would want to have a woman all to himself knowing that the woman is staying with him for a paycheque. Doesn’t matter if it’s just “business.” I don’t think that’s healthy for both parties. The SP could become emotionally drained due to exhaustion from working everyday trying to keep the client satisfied and I think it’s seriously unhealthy for any client to see the same SP every single day and paying each day.
