Absolutely positively a federal criminal code offence.sam1979 said:Perhaps the question is HOW illegal is it to run an incall operation.
Anybody here think about starting their own incall?

Yes, Completely, Don't - unless you want to pay a criminal defense lawyer lots of money.sam1979 said:Is running an incall operation illegal?

In Toronto there seems to be a ton of incall agenciesAardvark154 said:Yes, Completely, Don't - unless you want to pay a criminal defense lawyer lots of money.
Remember also almost everyone who has been arrested for such offenses said - they aren't really enforcing that law.
Sasha and John explained it well at #3 and 4 above.
Yeah, but not everyone is willing to risk that that will always remain the same.squash500 said:In Toronto there seems to be a ton of incall agencies? ISTM that the Toronto police know about these agencies but as long as the cops don't receive any complaints then the cops will just let things carry on?
I believe that is the case.squash500 said:In Toronto there seems to be a ton of incall agencies? ISTM that the Toronto police know about these agencies but as long as the cops don't receive any complaints then the cops will just let things carry on?
There so many laws, bylaws, regulations that the only way a person can avoid breaking one of them is to stay in bed 24/7. I remember seeing a TV program a few years back where a camera followed a TV executive through a normal day. He committed 23 infractions just living his ordinary life!rubmeister100 said:Having said that... it seems that with all things criminal, that if you really don't give a shit about getting caught/arrested then you will likely skate through.
True, the political winds may shift. If Harper wins a majority or if the Taliban take over, then they will make all forms of sex illegal. In the case of the Taliban, they will probably march all of us down to Dundas Square and give us 50 lashes or worst.Aardvark154 said:However, the problem is that it is rather like playing Russian Roulette. . . the odds may go with you for some time - since there are more than six cylinders. . .but at some point. . .
You're wrong toughb, if the man pays the woman for sex, and it is HER room, residence, or she has paid for the location in any way, that is illegal (aka incall).toughb said:***
You're making an assumption here my good man. The condos would be rented to the ladies the same as a hotel room. No one is running a brothel.
What happens in any room between two consenting adults is not against the law.

There is no reason to go into the realm of the paranoid. The conduct is currently illegal all it takes is someone calling the police and complaining loudly enough.Rockslinger said:True, the political winds may shift. I have never run an incall but I would hazard a guess that they do it by keeping a low profile. Also, never assume everyone has the same mindset as you do, we all have knowledge of this industry but there are thousands, no, millions who don't and would have NO idea what is going on.1bigdog said:Clearly yes its illegal.
So how do the incalls stay in business?
If 5 men visited my neighbor, and my neighbor is a revolving group of pretty young ladies, I would know whats going on.
AND Specifically since they incalls are in high-end buildings...it seems so heaty. If I paid $400k for a condo, I don't want a whorehouse nextdoor. Condo board would know right away. Shite ... I get in trouble for just leaving snow tires on the balcony!!
How do they do it?
Don't disturb the neighbours, no loud music, no barking dogs, no weird food smells (this will piss off the LLL), no screaming kids, etc. Actually, I think they make better neigbours than some of the asshole neighbours that I have had over the years, especially that idiot who decides to play his piano at 3AM.tboy said:I have never run an incall but I would hazard a guess that they do it by keeping a low profile.
