When’s that gonna happen, though?! lol… I’ve been waiting for months, and nothing yet.
..sigh...been waiting since 2020. I should have jumped at the 20% drop during COVID but I was hoping for 30% drop.
I totally get it… Hindsight is always 20/20. I thought the correction this past March would have gone a lot deeper than 10%, but no… I was holding out for 20% and then the market shot up again. It doesn’t seem to stay down as much or as long as it used to these days, so maybe I’ll start buying all the dips from now on just to be safe.
I am heavily committed to BNS and TD. I was taking the Warren Buffett approach of holding and letting them do their thing. But I have noticed they are both whipsawing to the point where I am up $5000 or so a day and then lose it all back next day. I am thinking about day trading them. Take a short-term profit and buy the dip next day. Which is pretty much guaranteed. I don't expect either of them to do a Nortel on me. I dunno.
