Take a look on archive dot org, and include the last name of an actor/ actress in the film, or the last name of the director. This will greatly reduce the number of 'false positives' in the search results.

I've found a lot of great movies on archive dot org that aren't really in the public domain, but their DVD releases are out of print.

1) Do a general search on Google.

2) Search on Bing Videos.

Sometimes you can find them on Youtube.

In years past, ie about 20 years ago when my kids were smaller, we found getting out to see movies a challenge.
Cost of a sitter then paying to see what was often a crappy movie.
We started a project to watch all movies that got the Best Picture Oscar. Yes, there are many other good movies, but this was a starting point.
We found almost all of them though the Public Library in Mississauga.

Only had to order one dvd off ebay for Wings. That was the first best picture Oscar, and it came out in 1927.

Also was an interesting project to see haw film making styles evolve and change

Try Tubi. Not sure if they have those movies. Many free movies.

Disney+ has Big Trouble in Little China.

Psycho is on Netflix.

You can stream most from Cineplex online but costs $3.99+ per movie. Can also buy a digital copy.
