When you implement policies that increase the cost of energy (as the liberal green agenda does), you spur inflation across the board. You can lay some blame at the hands of the Turdeau administration but its the Obama/Harris/Biden administration that are truly fucking things up. We would be exporting 900K barrels of oil a day to the U.S. if Keystone pipeline wasn't cancelled.

Personally I blame the Tories in the UK. Boris Johnson's inflation is at 7.7% as well and he's personally responsible - just like Justin and Biden.

Macron and Scholz are both personally responsible too.

Foolish. The keystone pipeline is 8% completed. It's just another idiotic GOP talking point like the caravans from central America

Putting in renewables is not making oil more expensive.
And there is not 900k barrels of oil to send to the US a day from here.

The right wingers still cannot comprehend what is the driving force behind this inflation figures in not only Canada, but the rest of the nations affected by it. This is something that is beyond the reach of the Governments:

While the average cost of food items went up 9.7 per cent over the past year, it's the higher cost of gas — up 48 per cent compared to a year ago — that's the single biggest factor affecting the inflation rate.

You can't possible be that ignorant, no impact ?
The Trudeau government spending has gone out of control. Canada as a country in almost 160 years accumulated approximately 700 billion dollars of debt, Mr Dressup and his incompetent cabinet that he selected based on sex and not merit has accumulated almost 400 billion in 2 years lol
2 FUCKEN YEARS lol

The budget will not balance itself, and inflation is gonna head to the moon. The 7.7 % is a bullshit number that is laughable if you look into how it's calculated. Real number is around 20%+

What we are facing currently and the pain waiting for us in the future is not a result of Russia, it is the incompetence of our woke government.

But hey everyone, look at those cool socks

Compare us to the rest of the world. They all have inflation problems... most are worse off. But you want to blame Trudeau...LOL

One thing I do not understand about you and your fellow Trumpists is that you would rather have everyone suffer just so you can claim your guy was better. Seems pretty masochistic to me.
What does Trump have to do with 2022 Canadian inflation rates?

That's the problem with you lefties- you think that basic economic principles are "magic".
As opposed to knee-jerk blame of politicians you don't like because they don't have the magic to solve a worldwide problem.

I expect we will be hearing the Andrew Mellon solution for both the US and Canada shortly.
