Seriously, what's the point of a vaccine. 80% of cases are asymptomatic and transmission from these asymptomatic carriers is extremely rare [according to the WHO].
If you don't have a co-morbidity, you've got nothing to worry about. Sick people die all the time. Circle of life. Way more people are dying from Medical Errors, Prescription Drug use [even as directed], and Abortions - year after year. Yet no one has the balls to lockdown the medical industrial complex.
This virus is a joke compared to the economic destruction and despair it has brought on society. And now the biggest cities are mandating masks. That's a surefire way to compromise everyone's lung capacity. That will make the mask-wearing sheep more susceptible to respiratory infections this coming flu season. God help us!

If a vaccine does come out and everything works out, it would be a story book ending. Most good endings in real life are quite mundane and are the result of the accumulation of small advantages over a long period of time. If we get a good outcome, it will probably be from a long ass grind and not some miracle vaccine.

They DO NOT "compromise everyone's lung capacity. " unless you are shoving them down your throat. Or is that literally what those anti-government types mean when they say that the government is shoving masks down our throat?
Aside from it being incorrect, your comprised immunity argument is also self-destructive. If the masks are ineffective in reducing covid virus inhalation, then how can they also reduce inhalation of other virus' that you claim will "make mask wearing sheep more susceptible to respiratory infections this coming flu season"?
What society needs "help" from is those who take medical advice from right wing zealots and their leader. None of which are physicians, let alone respiratory specialists. And those who take that advice and spread it are demonstrably uneducated in medicine to even assess these crackpot ideas.

You understand that Doctors, scientists, government etc are learning about this novel virus and its disease as they go. Some things work and some don't. Daily and even hourly experience creates new knowledge that may or may not work for others.
I think that their relative openness and the media informing the public of these new developments haas been a double edged sword. When early results or advice is given based on the understanding at that point in time, and then fresher knowledge is shared that contradicts the previous understanding, the whiners and deniers wail that Doctors are idiots. Those calling them idiots then go off to explain in great detail how Bill Gates, Soros and The Pizza Parlour are really behind the Chinese weaponizing this virus. And, unlike Doctors and Scientists, when these deniers get new information that contradicts their previous statements of absolute certainty, they simply cannot accept the new information because it threatens their internal identity.
And the same people who whine that the Chinese and WHO did not disclose their information fast or completely enough, then whine about the media giving out too much information and thereby creating a panic and fear mongering.
It is easy to draw conclusions who are the idiots.
Experiment: You keep wearing your mask as instructed by the white coats while I won’t. Let’s see in December who has the stronger immune system.

I was liking your post until you could not resist the political nonsense. There are left wing zealots that don't like masks and are uneducated as well. I know quite a few of them.
Any issue it is easy to try to blame the group you do not like but reality says there are people from all political leanings that do not see things the way you do. When you try to make everything political your message gets lost. The lazy argument is to play the political card, much like everyone does with the racist card when they disagree with something.
