So I'm going to Sweden, but I hear there are new laws that will get me into trouble if I pay for sex. Does anyone know if this is true, anyone have first hand experience or know someone who does?

Do not even think about hobbying there!!! that country is where rampant radical feminism has taken over, they will treat you as a criminal basically in the same way as the guy who beats his wife because thats how they see the customer/SP relationship. Get in the car and drive over to Denmark as the previous poster said, better yet short flight to Germany or the Netherlands and fuck till your weiner falls off.

Prague is a short flight too. Basically avoid Sweden (and Norway and Finland too). It's not just the religious right that ruin hobbying in countries.

Plus I heard things are really expensive in the scandanavian countries so one would assume that hobbying is as well.

Years ago my friend came back griping about $8 coca colas.

It's true.
Many swedes cross the bridge to denmark from what I've read.
That's what the Swedish authorities say, claiming it's evidence that their policy is reducing prostitution in Sweden. It's based on misleading data, though; a closer examination of the evidence shows no significant increase in Denmark, so either Danish prostitutes are getting fewer Danish customers for some reason (seems unlikely) or there hasn't been any huge surge of Swedes visiting them.

There really haven't been that many prosecutions under the new Swedish law, so probably Sweden should be treated like most places where prostitution is illegal (like most parts of the U.S.); don't go cruising for streetwalkers, but if you're careful and do your research you're very unlikely to get busted for seeing an escort.
