Girls Do Porn Cameraman Pleads Guilty, Admits to Lying to Women

I think 2 things can be true at the same time here.

1. The guys were wrong to lie to the women. Many (most?) of the girls who
shot videos for them would not have agreed to it if they knew they'd end up on
popular American porn sites.

2. Girls who grew up in the internet age should not be this naive. They filmed sex
scenes in the 2010's on high tech cameras and didn't think they'd wind up online???
They didn't read the entire contract when they were about to fuck on camera? This is
like suing McDonald's for making you fat because you didn't know.

i dont know anything about it but wouldnt they have signed a release form to get paid? just because you have buyers remorse you can change your mind and sue?
They did sign release forms. Some of the girls are even recorded reading the release form aloud.

The guys used coded language in the release forms, though. I believe they used the name of the
parent company rather than 'Girlsdoporn'. Plus, they rushed the girls to sign them and often got
them drunk/high beforehand.

Again, I think it's a bit murky. Certainly, GDP acted improperly. But if you're going to do a porn and
don't want people in your life to find out, maybe you want to read that contract carefully.

I'd like to see the full details of the contract/release that these ladies signed before I reserve decision. That being said these ladies really must be naive to think that the videos were only going to be distributed by dvd in Australia and New Zealand. Furthermore, what's to say that the dvd's wouldn't be copied and then posted to the internet?

There wasn't full disclosure. Hell, they straight up lied some of them.
Nobody is saying that the court should be showing any leniency here, just that certain ladies should really have known better...

Known better about what? This isn't a case of lack of judgment. They were lied to and tricked, some forced and pressured.

Or like suing McDonalds for spilling hot coffee on yourself.

One has to take some responsibility for signing a contract they didn't read or understand and not just belive whoever is summing it up for them.
I read early on some of the girls said they got paid with a wad of cash on their way out only to discover it was stacked with one dollar bills stuffed in middle.
That's sleazy ,dirty and criminal. At least pay them the agreed amount .

Of course they are naive women. They are targeted as such.

I get what some of you guys are saying. Part of me feels the same way but I don’t blame seniors who get conned by those CRA scams.

They are called cons and scams for a reason. They are believable to many and that is why they work. And why they are wrong.

I would like to see the contract as well, but I know from many contract signings, the language can be horrible and really hard to understand to a normal person. It would be easy to be tricked into signing.

GTA & Thereabouts...
As an update: The guy was just sentenced to 20 years in prison. One partner is on trial soon. The other partner is still at large with a $50K reward.

The guy looks young... Like he came up with a really stupid/successful way to nail chicks after he just turned 18, yet was too dumb to write legit contracts (that the women probably wouldn't have read properly).

20 years, that's some bad legal representation. 2nd degree murderers in Canada typically don't get sentenced that long.

Which is irrelevant

Go sell your home
One of the things it says right in the contract is oral claims are irrelevant and if any disagreement between what Realtor tells you and written contract says the contract is the only thing that matters

You see how many complains get filed every year
Vast majority of complainers get nothing, even when Realtor straight up lies to them

I never understood logic of signing a paper contract then asking joe blow to explain it
Ask a lawyer if words are too big for you
But you know, girls were making porn so I doubt much upstairs anyhow

Couldn't agree more. The girls were actually hot in most episodes.
I feel majority of vids were boring / repetitive

Some were good looking but the inability to act made it way tamer than it should have been

There's a reason most of these girls never went back to the well

Sorry, misrepresenting a contract is very relevant.

Yeah sell your home, and see if the buyer doesn't bring a lawsuit if you completely lied in the contract. Do it.

This wasn't a truth full operation. Why don't you start there? I can only image the amount of women you've raped.

With the whole nonsense of positive consent I doubt anyone alive has not raped a woman

Things like persistence to bed someone or lying about your intentions are now bad
And lets not even get into things like alcohol (clubs are rape factories today lol)
