Gasoline Price Wars

Has anyone else noticed that every now and then there is a brief price war between a few gas stations in an area? I haven't seen anything when the prices were high, but now with prices coming down there seems to be a bit more competition. About a month ago I filled up in western Mississauga for 80.9/L while stations a few km east were showing 91/L. A week or so ago I filled up in Burlington for 80.5/L.

Sorry, this doesn't do any good to my fellow terbites. I was thinking that we could use this thread to post good gasoline prices on the day they're seen then we could all benefit. Either that, or if someone knows of a website that fulfills that function, they could post it here.

Get the Gasbuddy app. It gives gas prices wherever you happen to be.. It's cool, and easy to use. It's free.

Right now, for example it's showing the lowest price in Ontario at $0.71, the average price at $0.87, and the place where I get mine on the Tyendinaga reserve, Olco, at $.074. There's no need to have a Terb sharing group when a perfectly efficient app already exists

Not sure what this means. Imperial Oil sold its last 497 Esso retail gasoline stations.

Interesting to note that in spite of the very low price of crude, Imperial oil is using the money to devote to the oil sands.

A friend that lives in Niagara sent me a picture couple weeks back of gas for .65 & lineups down the street

Yup, I was in town that day and scooped up a tankful at 67.3. Other stations in St. Cathraines have also been offering extremely low prices in recent weeks.
