Yup, I've played in a few beer leagues in my younger years and have been in a few brawls. Fun at the time when the adrenaline is pumping but going to the office the next day with a shiner wasn't a good fit. LOL

A player exercises his right not to wear a rainbow jersey and the lefties woke crowd goes apeshit. Since when is it mandatory to wear a rainbow jersey, a rainbow ribbon and wave a rainbow flag?

I wasn't for the kneeling for the anthems at first but the more I thought about I came around.
Like has been said these pride nights to me are futile. Just stick to hockey. Christ drop the anthems as well perhaps.

There is a valid reason. There is a lot of disposable income in the LGBTQ+ population. The NHL, being an entertainment industry, wants to tap that source of money.
I give the NHL and the Flyers credit for not over-reacting and punishing Provorov, just to appease the left. One problem is he'll be ostracized by players, fans, and media. Trying to trade him will be nearly impossible as the fans of the new team will shun him and criticize their team for obtaining him.
I've always been against political and sociological displays in the workplace, which includes the professional playing field. Either at the employers insistance(ie. trying to get their employees voting a certain way) or at the insistance of the employee(ie kneeling for racial issues). Outside of the workplace(playing field) you're free to do as you like. There are some exceptions like playing the anthem(unecessary, but I just got used to it) and honouring service people from the military.

With the way Provorov has been playing they should tell him to stay in the dressing room when the game starts.
No, I think most if not all understand it's about human rights....which includes the freedom to express your religion or belief which is guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
