There were questions about his health. Still, Cam Newton, a 2015 NFL MVP who led the Panthers to a 15-1 record and a trip to SB 50, being without a job in the NFL was becoming something of an embarrassment.
Leave it to the legendary Bill Belichick to sign Cam to an incentive-laden one year deal. Can't wait to see how Bill utilizes a quarterback who can throw and run.

But teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars, LA Chargers, NY Jets, Denver Broncos with so-so quarterbacks couldnt see the value in a 2015 MVP? 38-year old Philip Rivers at Colts is better than 31 year old Cam? Unfathomable.

Anyway, thought the Buffalo Bills were favorites in the AFC East. Now not so sure.

We shall see how long coaches put up with his attitude. If you go back he has never been a good team player which is paramount in NE. His wise crack to a female reporter during a press conference never helped his reputation.
A.Brown found out first hand that Bill doesn't put up with any bullshit.

Randy Moss. Aqib Talib. Albert Haynesworth. Corey Dillon. Even Josh Gordon. Etc. Etc. All were either so-called non team players or players with a chequered past. Bill Belichick gave them all a chance so far as they could help the Patriots win. Many worked fabulously and a few did not. That is the difference between a winning genius and serial losers.

If there is a season and he doesn't play by mid-season he will be cut.
Get your popcorn ready.

Apparently Richard Sherman thinks poor Cam was badly taken advantage of contract-wise by the bad old Patriots. A one year contract worth up to $7.5M is an insult to, as he put it, such a 'transcendent' talent as Cam. The fact he knows nothing about the real medical circumstances, performance and attitude facts, and private commitments that may exist between player and team means nothing. Just shoot your mouth off, right Richard? Such an attention whore. Almost wish someone would just snap his knee and be done with it, but it then probably goes from bad to worse when some network picks him up as a regular color guy, insider, or sideline reporter where he has a bigger platform to shoot his activist mouth off.

He's so stupid, he doesn't even realize he's publicly making Cam look like an idiot for actually signing that contract in the first place. I suppose he should have just stayed unemployed until he got the deal he wanted and thought he deserved on his terms. Just like Colin Kapernick. Guess Cam knows the truth, prefers to play, and knows even a few millions is better than no millions.

Why would you make such a sweeping statement? Have you heard of one US$17 million a year man Tony Romo with the ability to predict plays? Troy Aikman, Cris Collinsworth, Dan Fouts, Ronde Barber, Howie Long, Joe Theismann are all top notch.

Didn't mean all players and I agree with your list. But a lot are just brutal. I used to enjoy Merlin Olsen as a play by play.

My head is my home
Aqib Talib won a Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos, then slipped and fell on his ass going to celebrate in the broadcast both.

Physically there's no better QB than Cam Newton, from the neck up he's Lamont Sanford.

Sherman is just talking about himself. Even after getting exposed in the Super Bowl, Richard Sherman continues to believe he is an elite NFL cornerback...LOL! He was talking shit on Twitter about it with Darrel Revis who was basically laughing at him and saying all Sherman is good for anymore is playing zone and he can barely do that.
