Fan Expo Canada - Sept 3-6

Anyone ever been to this? I've been invited to go with a buddy who had an extra ticket and I have no idea what to expect (other than pandemonium if it's anything like San Diege Comicon).

We're going on Saturday and I see the doors open at 10. Is this one of those huge lineups to get in events? Should we just go later to avoid the rush?

Aside from the Harry Potter kids, I see there's Mike Tyson, Danny Trejo (Machete!), and several of The Walking Dead cast.

Saturday is the busiest day and will be packed the whole time. So you might as well go early, there will be line-ups everywhere.

I used to take my nephews. Gotta say, there are some awesome looking women in comic book outfits (can't remember the word for those). Took a few pics in prior years.

I'll be in town for this, and plan on seeing a few SPs while I'm in the TO area. Hmmm...wonder if any SPs go to this? And if so, would they do a private cosplay session behind closed doors?

Haven't been there, but from what I've heard, the crowds are very large and poorly managed (oversold tickets..)

Huge crowds and long line ups. Dress light, the A/C in the building is virtually not existence.
There are limited seating for Q/A sessions.
Autographs and pictures taken with the stars are expensive now.

Lots of young teenagers and young university students dress up for cosplay. I'm too old for fan expo.
