I was shocked and disgusted this week at work when I overheard a patients family comment on the number of "spooks" that work there. Actually any racially motivated derogatory term would also fit into the expressions I NEVER want to hear again.

How can people be so bloody ignorant??

something said without explanation...

"you remind me of my ex... ". [still dont understand that one]

but then my fave line, [I've used this one a couple times]...

"you are not the kind of people we prefer to have as clients."

when newcasters/reporters improperly use the phrase "begs the question"

begging the question is when your conclusion is used as one of its premises.
e.g. 1Hand has telepathy, because 1Hand can read your mind.

"Okay now wait here. I'm going to dance for you from in the change room."

I have to agree with robert99...
Irregardless is not a word! The only dictionaries it's in, is uder slang or improper. 'Regardless' will do just fine in any instance where people use 'irregardless,' and they wont sound so silly!

Any sentence that uses the word "so" to describe how one feels.

"I'm so not into him"
"I'm so there"

I think this may have gained popularity during the airing of "Friends" which was notorious for lame phrases.
