Yeah but it was revived randomly by a new member. Highly suspect.
Yea, no kidding. New member, first post, 3 year old thread, probably setting up a robbery

Small room + gambling + strangers....sounds like a recipe for disaster...remember that you will be solely responsible for everybody's safety and that's not something you can overlook....why not do a monthly orgy instead?
As an old fart at 80, I started playing poker at age 18 during my first job at a large company and after making friends with co workers, got invited to poker games, did well and enjoyed the game and still play NL Holdem Poker online to this day and have done well, however, I remember being invited to a home game by a friend. We played mostly 7 card stud and of the 6 of us, there were two guys I didn't know. After two hours playing, one of these two would win with huge hands, ie, flush, full house, even four of a kind and they were sitting next to each other. I noticed when one was playing a hand the other was gathering the cards and fixing the deck, with no cut, the other would be dealt a monster hand. My friends wouldn't believe me when I tried to let them know. I quit and they all lost. Never play poker with strangers.

The private condo setting and the $500-$1000 starting buy-in definitely adds to the exclusivity and excitement of the event.
I would definitely be interested in attending and I'm sure there are many others who would as well. If this becomes a monthly thing, I would definitely consider buying a seat at the table for a certain amount of time. And I agree with you, girls are more than welcome to play and attend as well. It would be a unique and fun way to socialize and possibly make some money.
As for feedback and tips, I think it would be a great idea to promote your event on social media, maybe even create a group or page dedicated to the poker parties. You can also check out onlinecasinobuddy.com for more ideas and tips on hosting a successful poker party.

Sure, all of a sudden a few "new" members express interest.......3 years later

Read the book - Molly's game did not end well as I recall it from a read a while ago.
As I recall she went on a non optional club fed trip for quite a number of years, as a result of her poker escapades

Already a ton of these games around. 1-3, 2-5, 5-5, 5-10 and 10-20. You just have to look for them or do your research. I can name at least 20 in the GTA.

Inviting strangers to a location where illegal activity and lots of cash is present is a recipe for disaster.
