Pretty obvious stuff, even in the introduction (preamble) they very clearly state that REGARDLESS of nature of the emergency they can NOT in any way infringe your rights under constitution or bill of rights.

AND WHEREAS the Governor in Council, in taking such special temporary measures, would be subject to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Canadian Bill of Rights and must have regard to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, particularly with respect to those fundamental rights that are not to be limited or abridged even in a national emergency;

You have an interesting definition of draconian.
???
OK I will bite
What do you think Draconian means then?
Seems pretty obvious to apply to Covid rules (excessively harsh, severe, small offence = heavy punishments etc)
What else would you call a law that says kids can't play in a playground and cops give the parents a ticket for nearly $1000?

Google not working for you?

dra·co·ni·an
/drəˈkōnēən/

adjective

  1. (of laws or their application) excessively harsh and severe.
"the Nazis destroyed the independence of the press by a series of draconian laws"

You've lived an extremely sheltered life if you think wearing a mask in the grocery store and limiting parties to 10 people excessively harsh and severe.

Again
So you are attempting to argue a law that says you cant go out to socialize (in direct violation of our rights) is not "excessively harsh and severe"?

Well thankfully you are not in law

Judges in BC, Saskatchewan and Quebec already tossed emergency act as unlawful

Alberta and Ontario are all out protesting waiting for day in court

I'd also point out it is beyond laughable you can have 50+ people inside a single room business, 30+ people inside a classroom, yet somehow 14 people congregating at a backyard BBQ is a big no no

What law is that? I can "go out" & socialize anytime i want to.

BTW in this day & age people "go out" to socialize less than ever before, because they can socialize in more ways than ever while at home alone. So there is less of a need to "go out" than at any other time in history.

...
What imaginary law stops you from socializing? Do you really think losing the 'right' to have a party with more than 25 people compares to rights violations around the world? Damn you are entitled.

You cannot reason with folks that live in their own little world. It's like throwing a brick and all you hear is thump.

Are you kidding me?

I don't know how unpopular you & Len are but guarantee more than 10 will show up to my birthday
Willing to bet majority are non mask wearing as well

10 people limit at a BBQ is absurd.

Fuck even just for family you really should have more than 10 people at Thanksgiving (a single family unit is normally 4 people) and even things like Halloween will gather more than 10 people at a time. And don't forget Christmas.

Oh the human rights disaster. So interesting to see guys who complain liberals are snowflakes lose it because they aren't allowed to have a big party.

Of course it it wasn't for people like you who think having a big mask-less party is more important than societal health, we wouldn't be facing a rollback in the first place. Sorry pall but you have your own kind to blame.

I am all for the freedom of anyone who chooses to win their own Darwinian Award. I think cleaning out the gene pool of stupidity is through idiotic actions is a worthy endeavor. Sadly many of these reckless acts end up taking out innocent bystanders with them. That is the reason we need speed limits through school zones, workmen safety laws, face masks, etc. We need laws not to protect the intellectually challenged - but us from the intellectually challenged.
