Dating a cop is dangerous. Always has been. I have heard many will use police resources to keep tabs on partners and ex partners…. And it’s hard to report police wrong doing to police in many jurisdictions.

A friend of mine dated a cop back in the 90’s. She met him at church of all places. He played in the “praise team” band before service. He stalked her non stop…. And breaking up didn’t help. Showed up at her Apt and work multiple times a day…. And he went after a co-worker he “caught” her randomly talking too. The Pastor was asked to talk to him…. Didn’t help.

It was like a broken record…. “I just want to talk”…. Which turned into the pathetic pleading “just give me another chance”…. Then the angry (sometimes unhinged) “why won’t you listen to me? Why are you doing this to me!!”

The tools the cops have access too today make it a lot easier for them to stalk…. Hell, even the general public has access to cheap and effective spyware.

Scary world for people that spurned their lovers.
