The MP has since apologized but do you think this is fair debate?

lmao!Well has she?
At this point, I don’t think they’re out of touch. I think it’s a deliberate strategy. The tide is starting to turn on sex work, people don’t have the puritanical “burn the harlots!” mentality anymore, so they needed to find a new angle of attack. Framing all sex work as trafficking is insidious and disingenuous, and it works because if you question them, they attack you as being pro human trafficking. This guy isn’t an ignoramus. He’s a conniving asshole. He claims that all these sex workers are "trafficked'. An insult to all the ladies that choose to be in this profession!!
How out of touch some of these CPC MPs are!!
Yes, but will he??That is one ugly MOFO. I feel sorry for any SP that would have to spend an hour with him.
I'm so fed up with today's politics and so called "politicians" that Blackface has my vote for ever if he makes prostitution legal.
Agreed, and members of the general public are largely ignorant, so they buy into the CPC drivelAt this point, I don’t think they’re out of touch. I think it’s a deliberate strategy. As a member of largely ignorant general public, I disagree. I do not buy into this CPC drivel. Unlike child like liberal beings, most ignorant general public can think for themselves and not along party lines. I do not agree with that CPC MP,s statement, I think he is a dick head for saying that. And as member of largely ignorant general public I offered my future vote to Blackface if he does the right thing on this issue and legalizes it.Agreed, and members of the general public are largely ignorant, so they buy into the CPC drivel
If that’s the case, then the general public should band together and demand prostitution be decriminalized by making it a core election issue! Lol - I seriously doubt you’ll ever see this happen, at least not in our lifetime...As a member of largely ignorant general public, I disagree. I do not buy into this CPC drivel. I don't remember general public banding together and demanding that weed will be legalized as a core election issue, yet he did it. It was a sensible thing to do.If that’s the case, then the general public should band together and demand prostitution be decriminalized by making it a core election issue! Don’t get me wrong... it would be great if Trudeau did come to his senses and repeal C -36. While you’re correct in stating that it’s the sensible thing to do, I feel that might be asking too much of him. As another poster so aptly stated, “the Liberal Party cannot be known as the party of weed and hookers.. it has to be one of the other”. It looks like Trudeau already made his choice. That, and the fact that he’s gone on record as saying he believes prostitution is a form of violence against women. The only way to convince him to actually review C-36 and make changes to the law is to convince him that he has something to lose if he doesn’t. Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s the case.I don't remember general public banding together and demanding that weed will be legalized as a core election issue, yet he did it. If CPC continues on this trajectory, the largely ignorant general public will not vote for them again, no matter who they choose as their new leader.
His mother believed in "Sex , Drugs and Rock and Roll" as far as I remember. :biggrin:Don’t get me wrong... it would be great if Trudeau did come to his senses and repeal C -36.
