POWER (Prostitutes of Ottawa-Gatineau Work Educate & Resist) would like to invite our friends and allies to come party in support of sex worker rights THIS FRIDAY!

** Club SAW (67 Nicholas Street, in the basement of the Arts Court)
** Friday March 27, 8-11pm
** Cheap drinks + 3 sexy, fun female DJs coming in from Montreal
** Open to all sex workers + friends and allies of the sex worker rights movement
** FREE

POWER (Prostitutes of Ottawa-Gatineau Work Educate & Resist) is a non-profit, voluntary organization open to all current and former sex workers, regardless of gender or industry sector. We envision a society in which sex workers are able to practice their professions free of legal and social discrimination, victimization, harassment and violence and in which sex work is valued as legitimate and fulfilling work making an important contribution to society.

Are You A Sex Worker Interested In Attending The Private Meeting Before The Party??

ARE YOU A SEX WORKER INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE PRIVATE MEETING BEFORE THE PARTY??

All current and former sex workers (all genders! all sectors!) are invited to join us starting at 5pm. There'll be free appetizers and cheap drinks. Then, at 6pm, we'll begin our first ever Annual General Meeting where we'll elect POWER's Board of Directors and review what we achieved in our first year of existence.

POWER (Prostitutes of Ottawa / Gatineau Work Educate & Resist) will hold their first Annual General Meeting TONIGHT. Afterward, from 8-11pm, all of our friends and allies are invited to join us to celebrate this huge step forward for Ottawa sex workers. Start your night by coming out to support sex worker rights in Ottawa!
