So one of the "reasons" Russia gave for illegally invading Ukraine was that they believed Ukraine was going to attack them so Russia attacked in self defense.
Now in your eyes it is OK for Russia to attack Ukraine in self defense, but not OK for Ukraine to defend itself when it is being attacked.
I am not arguing Ukraines right to self defence, I am arguing against the immorality of sending Ukranians to their deaths with zero chance that this can change the outcome. Ukraine is gonna lose and those kids dying is not gonna change that. They will be dead, maimed or traumatised and for nothing.

You will see, the house of cards will come down soon. Ukraine was not able to defeat the donbas rebellion, yet somehow they think they can defeat the motherland of that rebellion? That is pretty foolish
So much denial right here you could name a river after it. Your reality must be a painful one witnessing how badly the Russians are floundering these days.

Last I checked the Ukrainians hadn't received 40 odd billion dollars in support, with no end in sight, at that point nor were they galvanized to protect the existence of their nation then.

But you're not arguing the immorality of sending russians to rape and kill civilians.

"They will be dead, maimed or traumatised and for nothing"

right. so what exactly is the point of the invasion?

Looks like Russia's preeminent TERB asset got an extreme dressing down by his FSB handler this past weekend at Russian Propaganda Camp.

"And this one time at Russian Propaganda Camp ..... "
Have you ever seen what a Russian chick can do with a flute?

This statement ultimately says that Ukraine shouldn't defend itself.

If they agreed to terms there would have been no war. When you unleash the dogs of war, you are dealing with trained killers. The point of the invasion is to stop the killing and rape of civilians on Russia border and to prevent deployment of NATO strategic weapons closer to Russia. And to prevent Ukraine from developing into a threat to Russia.

It depends against whom. Against Russia its pointless. Just like Canada should not defend itself against the USA.
So Russia shoudn't defend in a battle for an area against Ukraine when they counterattack if Ukraine has a greater force then.
I mean that the immorality of sending Russians to their deaths with zero chance that this can change the outcome. If Russia is gonna lose the battle and those kids dying is not gonna change that. They will be dead, maimed or traumatised and for nothing.

Fighting over Crimea and autonomy in Donbas became a matter of pride for Ukraine and its pretty much instigated by the West. And yes big human losses over it. At the end the outcome will not be the one that Frankfooter is so convinced off.

The "terms" that Russia sumbmitted were laughable, do you remember what the original 14 terms were?
It has changed so many times now and about double the original terms and reasons for invading were added during the war
But you have to remember, to you it is not a "War", it is a "special military operation".
Seems to me Russia has stepped up its rape and killing of civilians and not just on the Russian border.
Finland and Sweden applying for Nato membership, when they weren't even debating it much before the invasion.
Master strategy by the Kremlin to keep NATO away right there.
Ukraine was never a threat to Russia till Russia invaded Ukraine.
Ukraine, as I said before, would never have got into NATO as long as Russian troops occupied Crimea and parts of Donbas.

And it doesn’t seem to be a thoughtful move by Sweden and Finland.. more like a reaction on public hysteria and conspiracy theories about Russia’s plans to expand and attack everyone

The key terms were neutrality and no basing of foreign troops in Ukraine. Fact is, they refused to negotiate. Sweden and Finland were already in the Nato cooperation program and regularly participated in NATO exercises. Ukraine was a growing threat, and they were constantly trying to sabotage Russias economic programs. The war could have been avoided, but Ukraines masters wanted it. Ukraine is just the sacrificial lamb for US geopolitical goals.

So just accept that the Russians will steal all your stuff, rape the women, steal the kids and send them away to repopulate Russia and then conscript all the men to either serve as cannon fodder or factory workers?

Well because they have refused to negotiate and broken several agreements we now have a war. When you are a smaller nation and you fail at diplomacy, then your sovereignty and very existence is at risk. Look at Iran, Iraq, Libya, Venezuela, Panama, Grenada and Afghanistan for recent examples. Canada has participated in some of these. So you outrage is massively hypocritical. This is nothing new. Its been happening for decades and Canada and all western countries have done this to other nations.

And the fact that neither of those wars were noticed by population of the west just shows how racist and more so Russia hating the west is..
